Road trip 3...Brisbane - Sydney

Here we go again! Ce n etait vraiment qu un Aurevoir....Caro is joining us for this little roadtrip. It seems like our plans match. We found a company that needs people to drive their campervans back to their original location. This is the way to have the campervan experience without paying out loads of money. We are happy and constantly comparing the experience with our tent-camping experience. The camper is defenetly more comfy but nothing would have been better in the west than our two little tents..we had such a good time on that first roadtrip and living in a tent makes you spend so much more time outside. Camper is good though on the East coast as the weather isn't as good. It was defenetly worth the try and we are pretty happy of the choices we made so far as travelling options.

The route in it self wasn't bad but having only four days makes things pretty tight. The weather not being at its best, we did what we could. Brisbane to Sydney. This is the famous coast of Australia where Hippies, surfers and hot chicks gather around, the movie Australia. Yeah, maybe but the coast isn t as nice as the West coast and the roads are terrible. It took us so long to get from one place to another that in the end we spend more time in the campervan than out.

We didn't miss hippy canabis legalisation fighters in Nimbie or cool surfers in Byron Bay. Saw our first walabi there and were looking for the koalas. Imagine Pau driving, Caro and I stuck to the front window, heads up looking for these lazy koalas in the eucalyptus trees. Not one....we are starting to think they are a legend, they don t exist....Anyway, we eventually got to Sydney...big town. I didn t really feel like going back into town but at least, we would spend a few more days with Caro before she left Australia.
